Hamburger Soup

Ingredients :
6 cups water
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
salt and pepper to taste
1 large onion chopped
1 stalk celery chopped
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic or 1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 pkg. onion soup mix
3 large potatoes, cut as you like for soup
2 carrot. s cut for soup
1 can of green or yellow beans
1 can or frozen equivalent of corn
1 8 oz can of tomato or V-8 juice or 1 lg. can stewed tomatoes
Instructions :
Place first 8 ingredients in large soup pot. When water begins to boil add onion
soup mix. When meat is almost cooked add potatoes and carrots. When these are almost
cooked add beans, corn, juice/tomatoes. Let heat to boiling and serve with crusty
bread. A fast easy and good meal.
